French classes at CLÉ

At CLÉ, you can take the DELF exam (A1–B2 levels) during your stay or in your home country—available in 154 countries. The exam tests reading, listening, writing, and speaking. All courses help you prepare, and you can join our “DELF-DALF Prep” program for focused individual lessons.

Each DELF exam (A1–B2) tests listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Exam duration increases with each level, ranging from about 1.5 hours at A1 to over 2.5 hours at B2. Each speaking section includes 10 minutes of preparation.

The DALF C1 and C2 exams include listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Listening lasts 40 minutes, reading 50 minutes, writing 2.5 hours, and the oral exam 30 minutes with 1 hour of preparation.

DELF A1 and/or A2: €130–135

At CLÉ, you can take the DALF exam (C1 or C2) during your stay or back home—available in 900 centers across 154 countries. All CLÉ courses support DALF preparation, and you can opt for individual lessons through our “DELF-DALF package” to boost your confidence.

The DALF C1 and C2 exams include listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Listening lasts 40 minutes, reading 50 minutes, writing 2.5 hours, and the oral exam 30 minutes with 1 hour of preparation.

Each exam is offered at various time slots, so you can choose what suits you best. Registration is required in advance and is open Monday to Friday. Check the exam period dates on the official DALF website.

DALF C1 – C2 : 150 – 165€

The Diplôme de français professionnel (DFP) certifies your ability to use French in professional settings from A1 to C1. Four specializations are available: Business, International Relations, Healthcare, and Tourism/Hospitality. You can take the exam directly at CLÉ.
